{"id":4832,"date":"2020-11-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-23T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jpsmedical.com.au\/changes-to-the-acrrm-specialist-pathway\/"},"modified":"2023-01-19T09:34:50","modified_gmt":"2023-01-18T23:34:50","slug":"changes-to-the-acrrm-specialist-pathway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jpsmedical.com.au\/changes-to-the-acrrm-specialist-pathway\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes to the ACRRM Specialist Pathway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As of the 24<sup>th<\/sup> November 2020 ACCRM have advised of changes to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acrrm.org.au\/fellowship\/other-avenues\/specialist-pathway\/specialist-pathway-eligibility\">ACRRM Specialist Pathway<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A revised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acrrm.org.au\/docs\/default-source\/all-files\/specialist-pathway-guide.pdf?sfvrsn=94a69ec3_4\">Specialist Pathway Guide<\/a> has been published and a revised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acrrm.org.au\/docs\/default-source\/all-files\/1-specialist-pathway-application-form---1-january-2020-(1).pdf?sfvrsn=ca24e8b7_8\">Application form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The most significant changes are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Codified list revision &#8211; removal of South Africa qualification M Prax Med and the addition of FCFP<\/li>\n<li>Assessment criteria revision<\/li>\n<li>A requirement for doctors on the ACRRM Specialist Pathway to work in a rural health service (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/resources\/apps-and-tools\/health-workforce-locator\/health-workforce-locator\">MM4-7 location<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>New applications will need to meet these requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact us if you have any questions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of the 24th November 2020 ACCRM have advised of changes to the ACRRM Specialist Pathway.
